Common Stainless Steel Elbow Sizes
What are the common sizes of Stainless Steel Weld Elbow?
1. Take the diameter of 75mm as an example:
Small arc length: about 47mm, small (inner) arc radius 30mm.
Large arc length: about 157mm, large (outer) arc radius 100mm.
2. In the pipeline system, the elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline. According to the angle, 45° 90° and 180° are more commonly used. In addition, according to the needs of the project, non-normal angle elbows such as 60° 25° are also included. The main difference between stainless steel elbows and carbon steel elbows is the different materials. The chemical composition contained in them will keep the surface of the elbow from rusting and corroding for a long time.
3. Stainless steel is usually made by adding a high proportion of Cr, Ni and other alloys on the basis of carbon steel, and the content ratio can reach more than 20%. Common steel grades include 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 0Cr18Ni9. The first few steel grades represented by numbers are Japanese and American steel grade representation methods, and the latter 1Cr18Ni9Ti is a domestic steel grade representation method.
4. Characteristics of stainless steel: Strength and toughness indicators are among the various steels, and its outstanding point is corrosion resistance. Stainless steel must be used in highly corrosive occasions such as chemical papermaking, and of course the cost is also high!
