Encyclopedia Of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings

Date: | Read: 23

Stainless Steel Weld Fittings is made of stainless steel, so it is called stainless steel pipe fittings. It includes: stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees, stainless steel crosses, stainless steel reducers, stainless steel caps, etc. According to the connection method, it can be divided into four categories: socket-type stainless steel pipe fittings, threaded stainless steel pipe fittings, flange stainless steel pipe fittings and welded stainless steel pipe fittings. Stainless steel elbows are used for pipe bends; flanges are used to connect pipes to each other, connected to the pipe ends, stainless steel tees are used for three pipes to be collected; stainless steel crosses are used for four pipes to be collected; stainless steel reducers are used for two pipes of different diameters to be connected. Main stainless steel materials: 304, 304L, 316|, 316L

Stainless steel pipe fittings are a general term for various stainless steel pipe connection workpieces, which can be divided into different categories according to shape, purpose, and connection method. It has the characteristics of easy installation, high performance, and durability, and is widely used in various pipeline configurations and installations.

Stainless steel pipe fittings can be divided into stainless steel tees, stainless steel flanges, stainless steel reducers, stainless steel elbows, stainless steel pipe caps, stainless steel heads, etc.

Iron and steel are distinguished by the amount of carbon content. Iron-carbon alloys with a carbon content of less than 2% are steel, and those with a carbon content of more than 2% are called iron. Steel is widely used because it has both toughness, elasticity and rigidity. Everything we come into contact with in life is steel, but people call it differently. For stainless steel, whether it can be attracted by a magnet or not, as long as it meets its quality standards, it is stainless steel.

Stainless steel pipe fittings are pipe fittings that insert a stainless steel pipe into the socket of the pipe fitting and then perform argon arc welding along the edge of the pipe fitting. It is the most reliable connection method among all connection methods. The inner diameter of the pipe fitting socket = the outer diameter of the pipe. According to the edge welding part of the pipe fitting, it can be further divided into three types of pipe fittings: slope edge extension, step edge extension and no extension. The socket welding specifications are generally DN15-DN100.

Butt welding type

Butt welding stainless steel pipe fittings are pipe fittings that make a circle of argon arc welding along the butt seam of stainless steel pipes and pipe fittings, and generally require welding.

The outer diameter of the pipe fitting socket = the outer diameter of the pipe.

Butt welding is generally used for welding of stainless steel pipeline systems with larger specifications.

Compression fittings

It has the characteristics of reliable and safe connection, convenient and fast construction, suitable embedded installation, maintenance-free update, and relatively good economy.

The working principle of compression fittings is to insert a thin-walled stainless steel pipe into the socket of the compression fittings, and use a special compression tool to clamp the stainless steel pipe in the fittings. The cross-sectional shape of the compression part is hexagonal, and there is an O-ring seal between the stainless steel pipe and the fittings, which makes it have the characteristics of anti-leakage, anti-pulling, anti-vibration and high pressure resistance. Therefore, it is a more advanced connector in direct drinking water systems, tap water systems, heating systems, steam systems, industrial oil pipe systems and industrial gas pipe systems. It is suitable for connecting water, oil, gas and other pipelines. Manufacturing standard: GB/T 19228.1 2003

Nominal pressure: ≤1.6MPa

Applicable temperature: -20℃ ~110℃

Applicable medium: non-corrosive or corrosive medium such as oil, water, gas

Material: Stainless steel 304 316L

Pipe: Φ15.88~Φ108 stainless steel welded steel pipe

Quick receiving parts

Plug-in self-locking spring-clip pipe fittings

The quick flash connection method is a "plug-in self-locking spring-clip connection" technology. As long as the pipe is inserted into the quick receiving part, the installation effect of quick flash connection can be achieved. When disassembling, just clamp the quick receiving part with a matching lightweight special tool and apply force to pull out and remove the pipe.

The quick-flash receiving parts are not only more convenient and quick to install and disassemble, but also have good properties such as reusability, no leakage, shockproof, buffering cold shrinkage and hot expansion. It is a new exploration and breakthrough in the method of pipe connection. It has been widely used and verified in water supply systems at home and abroad. Among them, pipe fittings are designated pipes by the Water Supplies Department in Hong Kong.

Through the special high-temperature resistant rubber ring, the pipe fittings have also begun to be gradually used and recognized in the water supply and drainage pipelines of solar water heaters, making installation and use more convenient. I believe that in the future, there will be more new innovations and breakthroughs in the connection technology of pipelines, and it will continue to develop in the direction of convenience, speed, and humanization. There will also be more and more perfect products for human enjoyment.
