Importance Of Strength Design Of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings
Stainless Steel Weld Fittings is the main heavy-load bearing component on the bracket. The structural design and optimization of stainless steel pipe fittings, the preparation technology of stainless steel pipe fittings, the theoretical design and experimental analysis of axial compression performance, etc. were studied. Strength design has always been a difficult and hot spot in the structural design of stainless steel pipe fittings, and is an important link. Whether it is an angle-laid stainless steel pipe fitting or an axial/circumferential orthogonal-laid pipe fitting, an appropriate content of the circumferential layer can significantly improve the axial compression strength of the pipe fitting. After changing the 20% angle-laid (axial-laid) to the circumferential-laid, the axial compression strength of the stainless steel pipe fitting with a winding angle of 20° increased by about one-fold, and the axial compression strength of the orthogonal-laid stainless steel pipe fitting also increased by more than 10%.
The load-bearing performance of composite thrust brackets used in the reusable launch vehicle verification machine X-33 and Atlas V launch vehicle was analyzed through finite element model. It was pointed out that the structural form of the X-33 thrust bracket has a better comprehensive load-bearing capacity and is suitable for more complex load conditions, while the structural form of the Atlas V thrust bracket has a better compression load-bearing capacity and is suitable for load conditions dominated by large thrust.
