Introduction To Reducers In Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings

1. Overview of stainless steel pipe fittings

Before understanding Stainless Steel Concentric Reducer, let's first understand stainless steel pipe fittings. Stainless steel pipe fittings are a common type of pipe fittings. They are called stainless steel pipe fittings because they are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel pipe fittings include: stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees, stainless steel crosses, stainless steel reducers, stainless steel flanges, etc.

2. Overview of stainless steel reducers

Stainless steel reducers are actually reducers. They are made by heating one side of the large-diameter pipe of the stainless steel reducer to a red-hot state, hammering it with a hammer to reduce the diameter and turn it into a pipe fitting with one end large and the other small, commonly known as "reducer" or "reducer". Sometimes the diameter difference between the two sides of the stainless steel reducer is too large, so a few arc-surface triangular pieces are cut off from one side of the large-diameter pipe, and then heated to a red-hot state, hammered with a hammer, so that the cut gaps are close together to form a joint, and the small port formed is rounded, and then the joint is welded. According to the size of the reducer, it can be divided into one-time pressing or multiple pressing. In addition to using steel pipes as the main raw material to produce and process reducers, stamping forming can also be used to process reducers of some sizes and specifications using steel plates. The shape of the die used for stretching is designed with reference to the inner surface size of the reducer, and the steel plate after cutting is stamped and stretched by the die.

Stainless steel reducers (special-shaped pipes) are a kind of pipe fittings used for pipe diameters. The forming process generally used for stainless steel reducers is diameter reduction pressing, diameter expansion pressing, or diameter reduction plus diameter expansion pressing. Stamping can also be used for reducers of certain sizes and specifications. The diameter reduction forming process of the diameter reduction/expansion forming reducer is to put a tube blank with the same diameter as the large end of the reducer into the forming die, and according to the pressing along the axial direction of the tube blank, the metal moves along the die cavity and gathers to form.
