Knowledge Of Production Molds And Presses For Stainless Steel Elbows

The production of Stainless Steel Weld Elbow can only be produced under the joint action of several equipment such as press, base mold, upper pressure mold, and filling mold. The selection of press needs to be that the pressure should be greater than the force of elbow deformation. The design of upper pressure mold and base mold, because the original process is very advanced, the mold is also very imprecise, the length of the mold needs to be greater than the length of the elbow to determine the processing allowance of stainless steel stamping elbow, the design of filling mold is more important. Now the molds are made by CNC lathes, one thickness, one model, and one mold to determine the caliber and appearance of the elbow during stamping. However, this problem was not easy to solve. The original stainless steel elbow was one caliber and one mold. The caliber of the elbow made regardless of thickness was very difficult to determine. The current production of stainless steel elbows is mainly for thick walls and alloys, not carbon steel.

The stainless steel elbow is made of a plate of the same material as the pipe and stamped into a half-ring elbow with a stamping die, and then the two half-ring elbows are assembled and welded. The manufacturing process is to weld a polygonal ring shell with a polygonal cross section or a polygonal fan-shaped shell with two closed ends. After the pressure medium is filled inside, internal pressure is applied. Under the action of internal pressure, the cross section gradually changes from polygon to circle, and finally becomes a circular ring shell. According to the needs, a circular ring shell can be cut into 4 90 seamless elbows or 6 60 stainless steel elbows or other specifications of stainless steel elbows. This process is suitable for manufacturing large-scale elbows of any specification with a ratio of stainless steel elbow middle diameter to stainless steel elbow inner diameter greater than 1.5. It is currently an ideal method for manufacturing large carbon steel elbows. It is widely used in chemical, construction, water supply, drainage, petroleum, light and heavy industries, refrigeration, sanitation, plumbing, fire protection, electricity, shipbuilding and other basic projects.
