Heat treatment is to change the physical and chemical properties of materials by heating and cooling to achieve the expected performance requirements. For stainless steel tees, heat treatment can improve their mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
Before heat treatment before pulling holes, the stainless steel tee needs to be cleaned and degreased to remove impurities and contaminants on the surface. Cleaning can be done by alkali washing or acid washing to ensure that the surface of the stainless steel tee is clean.
There are many ways to heat stainless steel pipe fittings, the most common ones are annealing, normalizing and quenching. Stainless steel tees are generally annealed to eliminate stress, change the crystal structure and improve the plasticity of the material. During the annealing process, the tee is placed in a heating furnace, heated to a certain temperature, maintained for a period of time, and then slowly cooled to room temperature. Through annealing, the crystal structure of the stainless steel tee is improved, the internal stress is released, and the toughness and machinability of the material are improved.
Processing of tee hole:
Step 1, drilling: fix the stainless steel pipe fittings through the first fixing fixture, and drill holes at the butt joint branch position of the stainless steel pipe fittings;
Step 2, milling grooves: mill grooves according to the size and height of the holes;
Step 3, rough drawing: use the rough drawing die to make the initial hole drawing of the milled grooves, and apply lubricant to the contact part of the hole drawing;
Step 4, grinding: polish and grind the rough hole of the rough-drawn pipe fittings to make it smooth;
Step 5, fine drawing: use the fine drawing die to make the second hole drawing of the polished rough-drawn hole, and apply lubricant to the contact part of the hole drawing;
Step 6 grinding: polish and grind the fine-drawn hole of the fine-drawn pipe fittings to make it smooth;
